How to Withdraw Your Earnings: From Your SEMA Wallet to Your Bank

Your clips have earned, your claims are approved, and the money is sitting in your SEMA wallet. Here is how to send it to your bank account or e-wallet, and what to have ready so the transfer goes through the first time.

Before you start: the money has to be in your wallet

You withdraw from your wallet balance, not from a clip. A clip's earnings reach the wallet when you claim them and the claim is approved; until then they are tracked, not spendable. If you have not claimed yet, How CPM Works in Clipping walks through it.

The platform fee is taken when a claim is approved, so what you see in your wallet is already yours. Nothing more is taken off it except the withdrawal fee below.

Step 1: Add a withdrawal account

In your Wallet, tap Add withdrawal account and choose where the money should go:

  • A bank account at more than 20 Indonesian banks, including BCA, Mandiri, BRI and BNI.
  • An e-wallet: GoPay, OVO, DANA or ShopeePay.
  • A crypto wallet for USDT.

Use an account in your own name. When your KTP is needed (see step 3), the name on it has to match the name on the withdrawal account. You only add an account once; every later withdrawal can go to it.

Step 2: Check the minimum and the fee

At the time of writing:

  • The minimum withdrawal is Rp 50.000. Your Wallet shows how close your balance is to it.
  • Each withdrawal costs a flat Rp 10.000 to send, whatever the amount.

The Wallet always shows the current figures, and the request screen shows the fee and what you will receive before you confirm. Because the fee is flat, one larger withdrawal costs less than several small ones.

Step 3: Have your KTP ready for anything above Rp 100.000

For a withdrawal above Rp 100.000, you are asked for your KTP the first time. You send:

  • A photo of your KTP, as a JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF up to 10MB, with the NIK and name readable.
  • Your NIK, the 16 digits on the card.
  • Your full name exactly as printed, which must match your withdrawal account.

You send it once, not with every withdrawal. Your KTP is stored privately and only opened by the admin reviewing your withdrawal. A withdrawal of Rp 100.000 or less needs no KTP at all.

Step 4: Request the withdrawal

Enter the amount, choose your withdrawal account, check what you will receive, and confirm. The amount is set aside from your balance straight away, so it cannot be spent twice.

You can have one withdrawal in progress at a time. Wait for it to be sent before you request the next.

What happens after you request

  1. The SEMA team reviews it. Before the money goes out, it checks again that the posts your earnings came from are still public. A post that has been hidden, made private or deleted blocks the approval, so keep your posts up until you have been paid.
  2. The money is sent to the account you chose. Bank and e-wallet transfers go through Xendit, our payment provider.
  3. You are emailed when the transfer is sent, or if it fails.

If a transfer fails, for example because of a wrong account number, the amount goes back into your balance and you can request again once the account is fixed. If a request is rejected, the money is released back to your balance the same way, and your approved claims stay approved.

A worked example

Your wallet holds Rp 150.000 and you withdraw all of it to your BCA account.

  1. It is above Rp 100.000, so the first time you send your KTP, with the same name as on the BCA account.
  2. The request screen shows the Rp 10.000 fee: you will receive Rp 140.000.
  3. The team checks your posts are still public and approves it, and the Rp 140.000 is sent to your BCA account.

Quick checklist

  1. My earnings are claimed and approved, and the money is in my wallet.
  2. I have a withdrawal account in my own name.
  3. My balance is at least the minimum withdrawal.
  4. For more than Rp 100.000, I have my KTP ready, with the same name as my account.
  5. The posts my earnings came from are still public.
