How do I file a claim?

Choose the video, upload a screen recording of its analytics from your own account, and wait for the brand to approve it.

A claim turns a video's tracked earnings into money in your SEMA wallet.

  1. Open the video once its claim is ready.
  2. Record your screen while you open the video's analytics in the platform's app, on your own account. Show the view count and the audience's top countries.
  3. Upload the recording with the claim. MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 25 MB.
  4. The brand's team compares the recording with the views we tracked and approves or rejects the claim.

Some campaigns do not ask for analytics. There you do not file anything: once a video has passed the same waits and minimums, its earnings are credited to your wallet automatically.

After approval

The approved amount, less the platform fee, is added to your wallet. Nothing is sent to your bank yet: that happens when you request a withdrawal.

If the campaign's budget cannot cover the whole claim, the team can approve only the part it covers, and the rest is not paid later. With no budget left at all, the claim waits until the brand tops it up.

Only one claim per video can wait for review at a time.
